We make an airplane out of paper, and play with it outside our classroom. We don’t have that much place outside but it didn’t hinder us from playing. (yeah, US.. it includes me – I played with them, hahahaha J).

We were playing & laughing while trying to throw our paper airplane up so it would look like its flying. I could see their smiles and hear their giggles (What a music to my ears & a sight to behold! – These are my simple joys as a teacher, even money can’t buy).

Wedding Preparation

I'm getting married on October this year.. and i'm very EXCITED about it.

i just wanted to remember all that i have been doing to make my wedding -- MEMORABLE! That's why, i'm making this post.

One of my friends said, that i might be an OC (obsessive compulsive).. but in a positive way.. i love keeping things in order and in details, :)

i have a time line & a lists, :) Here's a proof: 

Hahaha.. Anyway, here's what i did: :)

8 MONTHS BEFORE...

First, i did was to look in the internet a design for my bridesmaids' gown, :) i love the design, coz it looks so simple yet elegant.

my save the date invites --  save the date invites was not that common here in the Philippines, :) but since i was so excited, yet it was still so early to send out formal invitations.. That's why i make SAVE THE DATE invites, :)

7 MONTHS BEFORE

I did make invitations for our PRINCIPAL & SECONDARY SPONSORS, :)

I think the design was "EXAGGERATED" hehehe..

So, on the final output i kindda change a little bit of it, :)

Here's a glimpse of our give-aways.
I'm gonna be making them on my own.
And im going to make 250 pcs of these, :)


Written on it is our theme song. It's in titled GOD MAKES NO MISTAKE. These song has always been an inspiration, an encouragement & a reminder to both of us, :)

Car Boxes

I've got a collection of used boxes -- thanks for the parents who donated, :) Used boxes of medicines, soaps and etc. 


I was thinking of something that could make use of such boxes --- and presto! Thought of making a cars.. or it looks like vans & buses, hehehe.. :)




With the use of watercolors, color pens, crayons and pencils. The kids draw and color the boxes that were given to them. 

Some started out by making wheels. They draw. Color. And cut.

These are some of the work of my kids. Some looks like buses, some vans, some trucks, :)

What do you think are some other things we could make out of boxes? :)

Skip counting can be a bit hard to memorize. 
One way of helping my students memorize/familiarize skip counting by fives.. i gave them this activity...


They have to arrange all the flowers, skip count by 5s starting from 5 till 100.

Others have difficulty in arranging them correctly, so i asked those students who are good at it to assist those that have difficulty.

When everything is arranged correctly, they have to glue them in the paper.

With the use of water color, they have to add details to make it more colorful.

 This is the outcome. I placed them around the walls of our room.
