flower garden of 5s

Skip counting can be a bit hard to memorize.
One way of helping my students memorize/familiarize skip counting by fives.. i gave them this activity...

They have to arrange all the flowers, skip count by 5s starting from 5 till 100.
Others have difficulty in arranging them correctly, so i asked those students who are good at it to assist those that have difficulty.

When everything is arranged correctly, they have to glue them in the paper.

With the use of water color, they have to add details to make it more colorful.

This is the outcome. I placed them around the walls of our room.

  3. What a great idea. I may use this as a workstation for my kindergarten class if I can squeeze it in in the next couple of weeks. I teach 2yo thru Kind too...but I teach Math. I use music A LOT to teach.
